UPDATED: Farmington Man with Closed Head Injury Returns Home

Farmington Public Safety seeks the public's help in locating 55-year-old Marlin Trent Smith, who left his home Monday evening and has not been seen since.

UDPATED: Farmington Public Safety announced early Wednesday morning the Farmington man reported missing Tuesday night has returned home and is safe.

The Farmington Public Safety Department asked for the public's help late Wednesday in locating Marlin Trent Smith, a 55-year-old man who suffers from a closed head injury and is subject to seizures.

According to an alert issued through Nixle.com, Smith left his home at the Jamestown Apartments at Grand River and Halsted at approximately 9 p.m. on Monday and has not been seen since. His family is concerned because he has not taken his anti-seizure medications, the alert noted.  

Smith is described as African-American, 5’ 10”, 180 lbs. and was last seen wearing brown or beige pants, white shoes, a black shirt with a white design on the front, a green coat and black hat. He is also known by his nickname, “Smitty”. 

Anyone with information on Smith's whereabouts is asked to call the Farmington Public Safety Department, 248-474-4700.
