Generator Stolen from Van on Macomb in Farmington

A Farmington Public Safety alert reminds residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables.

Farmington Public Safety officers are investigating the theft of a Honda generator from a van parked in the 33700 block of Macomb, which is west of Farmington Road and south of Grand River.

According to the Nixle.com alert, the van's owner told officers that the generator was stolen from an unlocked van sometime between Oct. 11 and Oct. 17. In the alert, authorities also reminded residents to lock car doors and remove all valuable items from vehicles when they are parked overnight. 

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call Farmington Public Safety, 248-474-4700.
