Jewelry, Gun, Electronics Taken During Farmington Hills Break-ins

Both incidents occurred during the day, while residents were away from their homes.

A Farmington Hills resident who left her home on Sierrapointe Circle Saturday afternoon to go shopping returned an hour later to find gold jewelry had been stolen from her bedroom.

According to police, a patio door had been left unlocked. In all, 16 pairs of gold earrings and 15 rings were taken. 

A resident in the 24000 block of Lincoln Court contacted police Friday at around 6 p.m. to report a gun, jewelry and other items had been taken sometime during the day. 

According to police, the resident found a sliding glass door at the back of the home ajar, and the bedroom ransacked. A Beretta PX4 handgun, an mp3 player, a gold bracelet, identification and registration for the gun were missing.
