Laptop, Cash, Jewelry Taken from Farmington Hills Home

Police believe someone got into the home through an unlocked bathroom window.

A Farmington Hills couple returned to their home in the 23000 block of Haynes Thursday to find electronics, jewelry and cash had been taken while they were gone. 

According to the Farmington Hills Police report, entry to the home appears to have been made through an unlocked bathroom window. A 24-inch computer monitor, laptop computer, $200 in cash, credit cards, jewelry and a wallet were taken. 

Truck tailgate taken during UM football game

A man who attended Saturday's University of Michigan football game returned to him home in the 22000 block of Fox Creek Drive to find the tailgate had been stolen from his truck. According to the report, the vehicle was parked in the driveway. The incident happened sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday. 

Corvette stolen

A resident in the 31000 block of Evergreen Court called police Sept. 4 to report that his silver, 1987 Corvette had been stolen. According to the report, the vehicle was parked in a circle drive in front of the home.
