Livonia, Detroit Residents Face Charges for Drinking in Heritage Park

Three Livonia residents and one from Detroit face charges after bringing alcohol into Heritage Park Sept. 5. 

According to the report, someone called Farmington Hills Police after spotting the four adults consuming "a lot" of alcohol at around 7:45 p.m. Officers found the group sitting on a bench in the woods, surrounded by empty and full cans of beer. The report indicated that everyone was over 21, Michigan's legal drinking age.

A city ordinance prohibits alcohol in all Farmington Hills parks.
