Look for Surprises from Farmington Officers Halloween Night

The Public Safety Department is in its 18th year of handing out treats to children.

On Monday, keep an eye out for members of the , who will be patrolling Farmington neighborhoods with bags of Halloween surprises for trick-or-treaters.

The department started this program 18 years ago, as a good way for children to have a positive first impression of police officers.

Halloween bags will be handed out beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday. Look for the Farmington “Crime Prevention” SUV. In addition to this program, FPS will have extra patrols in Farmington neighborhoods during the Halloween season.
