UPDATED: Missing Farmington Hills Girl Located by Police

Allena Moore was reunited with her mother Sunday afternoon, nearly 24 hours after she disappeared from the area of 14 Mile Road and Orchard Lake Road.

The Farmington Hills Police Department announced Sunday that Allena Moore, 15, was reunited with her family nearly 24 hours after her family reported her missing.

Authorities told the Detroit Free Press that the department will continue to investigate Moore's Saturday disappearance. According to the Free Press report, Moore "walked into a Detroit church her mother attends" Sunday afternoon. 

The department indicated they found Moore, and thanked the public for help in spreading word of her disappearance, in a statement issued through the Nixle emergency alert system. The statement provided no other details about her condition.

Moore was last seen at about 5 p.m. Saturday in the area of 14 Mile Road and Orchard Lake Road. Reports said she may have left the area with an unknown adult.
