One-Car Crash Injures Teen Driver in Farmington
The accident damaged a tree, bushes and a light pole in front of Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home.
A teen driver suffered minor injuries late Thursday night, after her vehicle left Farmington Road just north of Grand River and struck bushes, a tree and a light pole before coming to a stop in front of Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home.
Witnesses said the driver appeared to be traveling at rate of speed higher than the street's 25-mile-per-hour limit. Farmington Public Safety Director Bob Schulz said alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
No charges have been filed, pending the department's investigation, Schulz said.
