UPDATED: Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Grand River, Victim Identifed

Farmington Hills Police say 37-year-old Kimberly Michelle Williams died after being struck by vehicles west of Drake Road.

Farmington Hills Police report a 37-year-old woman was killed at around 6:20 p.m. Friday, after being hit by "oncoming vehicles" while crossing Grand River west of Drake Road. 

The Farmington Observer reported late Saturday night that the victim was identified by police as Kimberly Michelle Williams of Farmington. Her parents are Farmington Hills residents, the newspaper reported. 

In a press release, police said the woman was wearing dark clothing and crossed outside a crosswalk. She died at the scene, and her name is being withheld, pending notification of family members.

WDIV-TV reports the driver of a west-bound Jeep stopped after striking the woman, and two other vehicles that were headed east also hit her.
