Police re-opened I-696 at Orchard Lake Rd. after noon today.

Sometime after noon today, the westbound I-696 exit at Orchard Lake Rd. in Farmington Hills reopened, as Michigan State Police concluded their on-site investigation into the death of a pedestrian.

Motorists told Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch early this morning that west 12 Mile Road and I-696 were "parking lots", as police investigated the accident.
