Police Arrest Farmington Hills Man on Charges of Stealing from Meijer

Northville Township police provided this information.

Northville Township police arrested a 21-year-old Farmington Hills man Jan. 5 on charges of stealing from Meijer, according to a police report.

Loss prevention at Meijer, 20401 Haggerty Road, saw the man take a Scoshe FM Digital Transmitter valued at $39.99 out of its already torn package and put it in the front right pocket of his pants. He then attempted to leave the store without paying, according to the report.

Police arrested the man on charges of third degree retail fraud, the report said. He has a hearing Jan. 22 at 35th District Court.
