The following information was supplied by the Farmington Hills Police Department. Arrests and charges do not indicate a conviction.

Farmington Hills police confiscated more than 100 Vicodin, Hydrocodone, Xanax and other pills Monday evening, after a tip led them to the location of a possible drug deal near Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills.

According to a Farmington Hills Police report, officers received information from a source and set up surveillance at the hospital. A vehicle that matched the vehicle description given by the tipster arrived and parked in the rear of the hospital, near the loading docks.

The report indicated that police waited about an hour for the other party in the transaction to arrive, then conducted a traffic stop of the parked vehicle. While talking with the driver, a 57-year-old Detroit woman, an officer noticed traces of marijuana on the vehicle floor. A search of the vehicle uncovered more the pills and two plastic baggies containing marijuana.
