A gunshot was reported at a birthday party at the around 11:15 p.m. Friday night, according to Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus.
Officers responded to the scene, but nobody was hurt and nobody was arrested.
The police did impound a car and found a gun hidden in it, Nebus said.
The case is currently under investigation.
