UPDATE: Party Store Clerk Killed, Police Search for Suspect

Helicopter and K-9 units are brought in to search for a man wanted in connection with the shooting.

Farmington Hills Police are investigating a shooting that killed a clerk early Saturday afternoon at Tom's Party Store, located on Inkster Road north of Eight Mile. 

WDIV-TV reports that a man who walked into the store around 12:30 p.m. found a clerk had been shot and flagged down police. Investigators are looking for a black male who is 6-feet tall, 180 pounds and wearing a dark green jacket and winter hat. 

Police are still searching for the suspect; according to the report, K-9 and helicopter units have been brought in to assist.
