Tucker Cipriano Expected to Testify Thursday

The teen accused of killing his father and seriously injuring his mother and brother is due in court this afternoon.

Tucker Cipriano, accused in the brutal slaying of his father and assaults on his mother and brother, will be back in court Thursday afternoon and may testify.

WXYZ-TV reports that Cipriano's attorney, Mitchell Ribitwer, says his client will take the stand to say he was under the influence of drugs when he confessed to the crimes. Ribitwer aims to keep that confession out of the trial, which is expected to commence in early 2013.

Tucker Cipriano and his friend, Mitchell Young, both face multiple felony charges following the April 16 attack on the Cipriano family in their Farmington Hills home. Robert Cipriano was killed; his wife, Rose, and son, Salvatore, were both severely beaten.
