Tucker Cipriano, Mitchell Young Trial Set for June

The two are charged with several felonies in connection with the murder of Tucker's father, Robert, and assaults on his mother and brother, in April 2012.

A pre-trial for Tucker Cipriano and Mitchell Young was held in the judge's chambers Tuesday afternoon, according to media reports.

It has been nearly a year since the attack on the Cipriano family in their Farmington Hills home. Robert Cipriano was killed, and his wife, Rose, and son, Salvatore, were critically wounded. The Ciprianos' son Tucker and his friend Mitchell Young face multiple felony counts, including first-degree premeditated murder, in connection with the crimes.

According to The Oakland Press, a trial date is set for June 10. The two will have a joint trial with separate juries.

After the private pre-trial hearing Tuesday, Cipriano's lawyer Mitchell Ribitwer told the media that the meeting was to discuss any loose ends before the trial.

“Basically, there wasn’t anything that was being contested or controverted or anything really in dispute. All the attorneys are basically on the same page right now with respect to what needs to be done," Ribitwer told reporters.
