Vehicle Owners Report Thefts in Farmington Hills

Men from Newberry, MI and Windsor, ON report their vehicles stolen from Farmington Hills parking lots over the past week.

Visitors to Farmington Hills from Newberry, MI and Windsor, ONT called police over the past week to report their vehicles stolen.

According to Farmington Hills Police reports, the Newberry man parked his gray, 2004 Dodge Intrepid in a lot at Botsford Hospital around 2:45 p.m. on Friday and returned a few hours later to find it missing. The Windsor owner of a green, 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis was visiting a friend in the 35000 block of Freedom Road over the weekend when his vehicle was taken from an apartment complex parking lot. 

Both thefts remain under investigation; police did not discover any evidence of broken glass or debris at either scene, the report indicated.

Thefts from autos

The tires and rims were taken sometime over the weekend from three vehicles parked at a car dealership on Haggerty. According to the report, the theft occured some time betweeen 5 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. on Monday.
