Vehicles Attacked in Farmington Hills Subdivision

Two vehicle break-ins happened overnight in the area of 13 Mile and Orchard Lake.

Farmington Hills Police issued a Nixle.com alert Wednesday afternoon, warning residents about vehicle break-ins discovered in The Oaklands subdivision, in the Orchard Lake and 13 Mile Road area. 

According to the alert, windows on two locked vehicles were smashed sometime overnight on Tuesday. Owners who discover vehicle break-ins should immediately call Farmington Hills Police and not touch anything inside. 

The department's Crime Prevention Section also reminded all residents to remove valuables from their cars and lock car doors when parked overnight. Anyone with information about the break-ins should call the Farmington Hills Police command desk, 248-871-2610.
