Vodka, Beef Jerky Taken from Farmington Hills Garage

A resident on Paddock Drive calls police after waking up to find his garage door open.

A Farmington Hills resident called police Jan. 17, after finding liquor, frozen food and other items had been taken from his garage in the 23000 block of Paddock Drive.

According to police, a fifth of vodka, frozen beef jerky and other frozen foods, four gallons of gas in a container, a drill and drillbit kit, and an air compressor were missing. The man told police he noticed the garage bay door open at around 7 a.m., and there was no sign of forced entry.

A vehicle parked in the garage had been ransacked, but nothing was taken, according to police.
