Barnett Hosts Affordable Care Act Town Hall Oct. 26
Barnett will answer questions at Farmington Hills City Hall.
State Representative Vicki Barnett (D-Farmington Hills) will host a town hall on the Affordable Care Act on Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to noon, at the Farmington Hills City Hall Council Chamber, 31555 W. 11 Mile Road in Farmington Hills.
The event will feature guest speakers from AARP and MichUHCAN, a state-wide network that promotes comprehensive health.
“I know that many residents have questions about the Affordable Care Act and what it means to them,” Barnett said. “The health care marketplace opened at the start of this month and is now signing up people for health insurance, but it can be a confusing process. I will gladly help people find answers so that they can make the most out of this new law.”
