Barnett Hosts Town Hall on No-Fault Insurance Proposals

The Farmington area state rep will meet with residents on Jan. 24 at Farmington Hills city hall.

State Rep. Vicki Barnett (D-37th District) will host a town hall on Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at .

The event is intended to provide residents with information about possible changes to the state's no-fault insurance system that have been proposed in the legislature, as well as giving them an opportunity to express their thoughts on the proposal. The agenda will include a panel of speakers who are experts on the issue followed by a question and answer session.

“The legislation proposed by Republicans in the House and Senate would make dramatic changes to our no-fault system which will seriously impact every Michigan resident," Barnett said. "I want to make sure that members of our community are informed as to how they will be affected as drivers, taxpayers and consumers of health services."
