Cash, Jewelry Taken from Home on Congress in Farmington Hills

Someone tossed a rock through a rear window some time Thursday afternoon, police said.

Farmington Hills Police are investigating the theft of cash and jewelry Thursday from a home in the 36200 block of Congress. 

Commander Matt Koehn said someone tossed a rock through a rear window to gain entry between 12:40 p.m. and 4:40 p.m., then ransacked the home. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the department's command desk, 248-871-2610. 

In a Nixle.com alert, the Farmington Hills Police Crime Prevention Section urged residents who see suspicious activity to call 9-1-1.
