Vote, Then See a Movie in Farmington and Farmington Hills Today

Farmington Public Schools students have a day off today, because of the presidential election.

Because it's Election Day, students in Farmington Public Schools have the day off, and that means early movies at the Farmington Civic Theater.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and if you need information about where to vote and what's on the ballot, check out Patch's Participate 2012 voter guide. Today's historical photo is a button from the campaign of Gov. Fred M. Warner, Farmington favorite son and Michigan's only 3-term governor.

You'll find details about today's events by following the links below. We've also included a list of later events that require tickets or registration.
