Council of Homeowner Associations Hosts Farmington Hills Candidates

The forum, held at city hall, gives residents a chance to meet most of those running in November.

Six of seven city council candidates on the Nov. 8 ballot in Farmington Hills made it to Tuesday night's Council of Homeowner Associations (COHA) forum, held at .

Randy Bruce, Seth Doyle III, William Huber, Richard Lerner, Erik Lindquist and Ken Massey spent more than an hour answering questions that ranged from sharing services with other communities to what role the council can play in creating local jobs. 

Christopher Trotter sent someone in his place; Leslie Whitfield read an opening and a closing statement.

Kicking off the event, Hills city manager Steve Brock provided information about the city's , and board president Clark Doughty talked about .

The city's lone mayoral candidate, Barry Brickner, answered questions from a panel that included Mary Ann Barkach, representing the League of Women Voters, and COHA representatives Spencer Brown and Deb Kendzierski.
