Ellen Schnackel Named Farmington Hills Director of Special Services
The city promotes from within to replace Dave Boyer, who was recently named assistant city manager.
Farmington Hills city council members officially welcomed new Director of Special Services Ellen Schnackel at their meeting Monday night.
Schnackel said she has been working in the department for the past seven or eight years with former director Dave Boyer, who was recently named assistant city manager. Special Services includes parks, summer camps, the , youth and family services, senior programs and services, the , , and the .
"I'm looking forward to continuing that fine tradition of offering excellent service to our residents," Schnackel said.
