Farmington Area Democrats Endorse in Local Races
The club announces the candidates and issues it supports in the Nov. 8 elections.
The Farmington/Farmington Hills Democratic Club on Monday announced its endorsements in the Nov. 8 and city and Farmington school board elections.
In a release dated Oct. 30, the club urged a "yes" vote for both the Farmington Hills public safety and millage questions. The club also endorses incumbents Karen Bolsen and Howard Wallach for 6-year terms, David Sampson for a 4-year term and George Gurrola for the partial term on the ; Barry Brickner for mayor in Farmington Hills; Erik Lindquist and Randy Bruce for Farmington Hills city council; JoAnne McShane, Sean Murphy and Jeffrey Taylor for Farmington city council.
The club indicated its endorsements were based on principles of fairness, openness, community, regionalism, multiculturalism, and intelligent governance, and its efforts to identify, promote and actively support candidates who embody those principles.
