Farmington Area Republicans Endorse in Local Races

The club announces the candidates it supports in city council and school board elections.

Farmington Area Republicans have announced their endorsements for the Nov. 8 Farmington and Farmington Hills city council and Farmington school board elections.

In a statement released Oct. 13, the group announced it endorses Dr. Irving Ginsberg and Dr. Murray Kahn for the Farmington School Board; Dr. Ken Massey and Richard Lerner for Farmington Hills City Council; and Greg Cowley for Farmington City Council. The statement indicated the support was based on the group's belief in the small, efficient and fiscally responsible government defined in the U.S. Constitution, and its work to identify candidates who support the ideals of small, efficient and fiscally responsible government at every level and help them get elected.

More than 20 candidates are running for local seats in Farmington and Farmington Hills.
