Farmington Hills School, Nonprofit Receive Keep Michigan Beautiful Awards

Hillside Elementary and Community Living Centers projects are honored at an October awards ceremony in Ann Arbor.

A Farmington Hills elementary school and a Farmington-based nonprofit received honors in October, at the Keep Michigan Beautiful Awards program in Ann Arbor.

The state-wide Keep Michigan Beautiful (KMB) organization promotes beautification and environmental awareness, with an emphasis on volunteerism.

The Community Living Centers, Inc. (CLC) Nature Trail, located off Tuck Road on a campus setting with two group homes and an independent living apartment, received the Distinguished Service Plaque. The trail features benches, pathways, and flowers that provide a beautiful setting and offer mental and physical stimulation for developmentally disabled persons.
