Farmington Officials Approve Alley Regalley License

The upscale beer and wine venue will be open during the Farmington Area Founders Festival.

At their Monday meeting, members approved a temporary liquor license for the Alley Regalley, a strolling outdoor beer and wine tent offered as part of this year's Farmington Area Founders Festival.

Alley Regalley's hours of operation will be 5 p.m. to midnight July 14-17 in the Village Mall parking lot. The event is produced through a partnership between and the . All of the proceeds will be donated to a nonprofit organization to be named at a later time.

Dance for Life postponed

At the request of organizers at the , the Farmington City Council agreed to postponing that organization's upcoming Dance for Life event.

The pregnancy center's director, Karen Jewell, asked the council to move the event, scheduled for May 15, to another date in August. She said the recent bad turn of weather made her want to move the event to a later date when warm weather could be guaranteed. The event, when set, will be an outdoor dance, open to the public, at in downtown Farmington.
