Hey Voters! Find Your Primary Ballot Before You Hit the Polls in Michigan

Farmington and Farmington Hills primary voters, Publius.org lets you see your ballot before you hit the polls.

In its 16th year, Publius.org is a non-profit, one-stop online voter education guide.

“We designed it for voters who want to make sure there are no surprises at the polling booth” said Vince Keenan, creator and executive director of Publius.org. “Publius helps you familiarize yourself with the ballot before you hit the polls.”

Also, if complicated redistricting has you confused, the site offers a 2012 district-mapping function with updated districts so you can easily check the boundaries of your U.S. congressional, state senate and house seats.

Michigan voters can find:

  • An interactive sample ballot linked to campaign websites
  • Links to election questionnaires from print and online media where available
  • Video Clips where available
  • Current voter registration status and maps to polling locations
  • A voter guide “widget” to include in other websites

Publius.org is hosted at Wayne State University and is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

James Stevens is running for Oakland County Sheriff. 1. Number one objective is to make Oakland county citizens safe. How will I do that, I plan to set up a good citizen hotline directly to me, citizens will be rewarded with money and prizes which would be from private funding. 2. I plan to start Big Jim's Boot Camp to open up Jail space. which would be funded by myself and private funding and not the tax payers. 3. Cut cost save tax payers more money, find ways to save , lets keep taxes Low. 4. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE RESIDENTS NOT BE OUSTED FROM THERE HOMES DUE TO BANKING ISSUES , RATHER SEE THAT FAMILIES GET HELP TO KEEP THERE HOMES AS WELL. RATHER THAN SHERIFF'S THROWING PEOPLE TO THE STREETS, SO I WOULD DONATE 10% OR MORE OF MY SALARY TO HELP FAMILIES OUT. 5. Reward officers for there work, bonuses given thru out the year from my personal fund and not the tax payers.
