The Farmington Hills/Farmington Emergency Preparedness Commission offers a free seminar for pet owners on April 12.

The Farmington Hills/Farmington Emergency Preparedness Commission (EPC) will present a free seminar on Preparing Your Pets for Emergencies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 at the , in Farmington Hills. 

If you’re like millions of pet owners nationwide, you consider your pet an important member of your household. The likelihood that you and your animals will survive an emergency such as a fire, flood or tornado depends largely on preparedness and emergency planning. 

Local veterinarian Christian Ast will discuss how pets have been affected in recent disasters and will provide preparedness tips on how to increase your pet’s chances for survival.
