MDoT Remedies Power Road Sign in Farmington

A piece of reflective tape covers an "s" added to the end of the street name.

A Michigan Dept. of Transportation (MDoT) sign that added an "s" to Power Road in Farmington has been corrected.

Last week, Farmington-Farmington Hills Patch reported that the sign, which was placed on Grand River sometime during the past several weeks, misidentified a road named for Farmington founder, Arthur Power. A source at MDoT told us the sign would be expensive to replace.

The photo above was taken Saturday and shows MDoT used a strip of green reflective tape to fix the problem.
