North Farmington, Harrison Students Add Color to City Snow Plow Blades

North National Honor Society and Harrison art students painted the five murals on Dec. 1.

A group of more than 20 National Honor Society students from North Farmington High School and art students from Harrison High School no Saturday painted murals on five snow plows at the City of Farmington Hills Division of Public Works.

The students created the designs for the plows, which include Sydney Raider, the NFHS mascot, and a snow theme.

DPW Superintendent Kevin McCarthy took the opportunity to educate the young residents on services the city provides. The project was coordinated by Bethany Correll, a math teacher and National Honor Society advisor at North Farmington and Kimmi Dukes, an art instructor at Harrison.
