Total Wellness Fair a big hit at the Costick Center

The City of Farmington Hills Senior Division held its annual Total Wellness Fair on Aug. 20, 2011.

On Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 the City of Farmington Hills Senior Division helds its annual Total Wellness Fair for adults 50 and better. The free event ran from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the .

The fair featured health screenings, assessments and educational displays, plus door prizes and a free lunch to all participants at least 60 years of age. Seniors also watched exercise demonstrations, given by Fernando Caducio, who instructs many dance and fitness classes at the Costick Center.

Caducio and Farmington resident Amy Lange, a reporter for WJBK-TV, also demonstrated their ballroom dance technique. They'll be participating in "Dancing with Our Local Stars," a benefit for the American Diabetes Association, held Sept. 30 at the San Marino Club in Troy.
