U.S. Rep. Kerry Bentivolio, R-Milford, announced three additions to his staff today.
Bentivolio represents Farmington in Michigan's 11th Congressional District.
Tony Lis will serve as his District Director, Matt Chisholm will work as his Communications Director, and Sarah Ledford will fill the role of Deputy District Director, according to a news release from Bentivolio's office.
“I’m proud to announce the addition of these three experienced individuals to our team,” Bentivolio said in the news release. “Delivering first-class constituent services to the people of Michigan’s 11th district is my number one priority and our team will work hard over the next two years to exceed expectations.”
Tony Lis brings over a decade of experience to Bentivolio’s staff, the news release indicated. Prior to serving as the Field Director on the Congressman’s campaign, Tony worked for Gov. Rick Snyder’s gubernatorial campaign. Additionally, he has advised and worked in outreach roles for numerous clients, including John McCain’s presidential bid. Lis will oversee the operations of Congressman Bentivolio’s district office in Commerce Township.
Matt Chisholm, who will work out of the Washington office, joins the Congressman’s staff from Strategic National where he worked as a political consultant advising several federal and statewide campaigns, the news release indicated. Chisholm’s previous experience includes working on Jon Huntsman’s presidential bid and Snyder’s gubernatorial campaign.
A graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School and the University of Michigan, Sarah Ledford contributes years of public affairs experience to Congressman Bentivolio's district office, the news release indicated. Most recently, she worked for Strategic Public affairs where she specialized in healthcare and higher education services. Prior to this, Ledford worked in business development with The Windquest Group. Ledford currently serves as a Vice-Chair of the Michigan Republican Party, the news release indicated.
