If you live in Farmington Hills, the answer may be "buy". An Aol Real Estate blog review of rental and home ownership costs found that in the Warren-Troy-Farmington Hills market, the average cost of ownership, $567 per month, is nearly $1,000 less than the average rent, $1,522.
