Are You a Proud Farmington Schools Dad?

A district-wide meeting is planned Sept. 19 for dads, grandfathers, uncles and other male role models.

Are you the proud dad or other male relative or role model of a student?

Learn how to creat "magic moments" with your child during the 2012-2013 school year at the Farmington Proud Dads Club district-wide event held Sept. 19, from 5:30 until 7 p.m., in the Media Center, 30303 W. 14 Mile, Farmington Hills.

The local club, is an off-shoot of an organization founded 11 years ago in Birmingham by Jay Kalisky, and brought to the Farmington area through the efforts of Tonya Corbitt, Warner assistant principal. The club holds events throughout the school year, to make it easier to enjoy activities with children at school.
