City, Public Safety Department Honor Crossing Guard

The City of Farmington and the Farmington Public Safety Department last month recognized local resident Sharon Davis for helping local school children.

Davis has served as a school crossing guard since 1990, assuring children make it safely across Power Road to attend . Davis was presented with a certificate and special pin honoring her 20 years of service to the community.

“It is so important to have the right person for the job and clearly she is that person," Farmington Public Safety Director Bob Schultz said. "Mrs. Davis is dedicated, and it is reassuring to know that she will be there each day to watch over the children.”
