UPDATED: Extreme Wind Chill Closes Farmington Schools Friday

Sporting events, performances and other activities will go on as planned Friday night.

Farmington Public Schools will be closed Jan. 24, as Southeast Michigan remains under a wind chill advisory tonight through Friday morning

Friday evening activities, sporting events and performances–including Harrison High's production of "Peter Pan"–will continue as scheduled, according to the district's Facebook page

Walled Lake Consolidated School District will also be closed Friday. 

According to the National Weather Service, the temperature is expected to drop as low as -5 overnight, with the wind chill taking the real-feel down to -25 to -30.
