Farmington High School Hosts CPR Class for Students Jan. 14

High school students will learn the basics of the life-saving technique.

As part of a continuing collaborative effort with Farmington Public Schools, the Farmington Hills Fire Dept. and the Farmington Dept. of Public Safety, free CPR training will be offered for high school students on Jan. 14 at Farmington High School.

Classes are offered throughout the school year. Deadline for registering is the Wednesday before each training.

The classes must have at least 12 students, and there is a maximum of 40 for the Jan. 14 class. Students will be notified if a class needs to be cancelled due to low registration numbers.

Students must reapply for certification every year. Students who want a Certification card instead of a Participation card should notify their instructor; a $20 fee is required to obtain the Certification card.

Register on-line at http://cpr01142013fhs.eventbrite.com/. For additional information regarding these courses, contact School/Community Relations at 248-489-3349.
