Farmington Parent Groups Offer Seven Habits for Highly Effective Families Workshop

The registration deadline is Nov. 6, and sessions are short so elementary students can participate.

A successful program offered for Farmington Public Schools students through Together for Accelerated Learners (TAL) and Farmington PTA Council will soon be offered for families.

The registration deadline is Nov. 6 for the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families and Teens workshop, which will be held Dec. 2, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Sessions are kept short so that even elementary-aged students can participate.

The workshop, which has been held locally for teens, is based on the popular teachings of author Stephen Covey. The habits include being proactive, win-win thinking and "putting first things first".
