Farmington School Board Member to Step Down in 2014

Priscilla Brouillette will leave at the end of February.

Farmington Public Schools board member Priscilla Brouillette announced Tuesday that she will step down at the end of February 2014.

According to a post on the district's Facebook page, Brouillette said she plans to focus on her upcoming role as a grandmother. First elected in 1996, she has lived in the district for more than 30 years. Her term expires in November of 2014.

Board members will discuss at their Jan. 14, 2014 meeting how to fill the post.

Supt. Susan Zurvalec announced last week that she will retire at the end of June, 2014.
