Free Event Invites Farmington Eighth Graders to 'Pledge for Success'

The annual event helps students and their parents prepare for the transition to high school.

Farmington Public Schools eighth grade students and their parents will find assistance with the transition to high school during a free event held Feb. 28, 5:30 p.m., at Oakland Community College Orchard Ridge campus in Farmington Hills. 

Hosted by Pledge for Success, a community coalition, "Your Success Starts Today-Be Great-Celebrate" will include presentations on careers, high school earning, financial aid for college and more. All students who attend will receive a USB bracelet and have a chance to win raffle prizes.
