Harrison Students Raise $3750 During October Pink Week

The Farmington Hills school's Think Pink club organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Week in October.

Harrison High School's Think Pink Club raised $3,750 during five days of Breast Cancer Awareness Week events held Oct. 14-18.

The money was raised through selling donuts, a bake sale, "Pink Wear" sales, hat day and loose change day at lunch. Friday's Pink Out included wearing pink to school as well as the football game, where both schools’ football teams, poms and cheerleaders wore pink.

The Farmington Hills school's Think Pink Club has more than 75 members.
