Health and Wellness Forum Offered Monday at Warner Upper Elementary

The Farmington PTA Council's final forum of the year will include presentations on childhood obesity, fitness and other topics.

The Farmington PTA Council's last forum of the year will focus on the community's health and well-being.

The Health and Wellness Fair will be held Feb. 13, 7 p.m.-9 p.m., at in Farmington Hills. Designed for K-12 parents, the event is hosted by , , and  elementary schools.  

The following presentations will be featured:

  • Student Drug & Alcohol Prevention by Randy Field, Director Call to Action Coalition
  • Childhood Obesity by Gina DeAngelis and Denise Cykiert, Registered Dietitians from
  • Living with Food Allergies by Dr. Chad Mayer Allergy and Asthma Institute of Southeast Michigan
  • Stress and Your Student by Dr Padmaja Nandigama, Positive Living

In addition, a number of booths will offer health and fitness information.
