Hillel Day School to Honor Distinguished Alumni

Nominations are being accepted through Jan. 17.

Celebrating its 55th year, Hillel Day School in Farmington Hills is accepting nominations for its first-ever Distinguished Alumni Award.

“The award is an ongoing tribute to the strength of our educational program,” said Cheryl Schanes, the Jewish day school's director of development. “It’s our chance to celebrate the successes of our graduates, and to invite them back to school to share their stories.”

Nominees must have distinguished themselves in one of more of the following areas: leadership, service, career, humanitarianism, creativity and courage. The recipients will be selected by a committee from Hillel Day School.

Nominations are due by Friday, January 17, 2014. For more information on how to enter, please contact Cheryl Schanes at 248-539-1488 or visit the Hillel Alumni page atwww.HillelDay.org/alumni_portal
