Farmington Hills native Mark Ostach offers information about how to balance your digital life.

Is technology and the Internet making you sick? 

Whether you can't put down your iPhone or you compulsively check Facebook, Farmington Hills native Mark Ostach will talk about the benefits of a "digital diet" during a 7 p.m., Oct. 21 event at Farmington High School, 32000 Shiawassee. 

Ostach, who created mymentalspace.com, a tool people can use to manage the amount of time they spend online, will talk about the pros and cons of technology in the classroom, how to find balance in your digital world and more during the presentation.
