Mr. Harrison Event Raises Funds April 24 for Cass Community Social Services

The annual event is opened to the public, in the hopes of raising more funds for the Detroit-based charity.

The Harrison High School Student Council has made their April 24 faux beauty pageant, “Mr. Harrison,” a charity event for the second year in a row.

Cass Community Social Services, a Detroit based non-profit fighting poverty and creating opportunity in the city, will be the night’s beneficiary. Cass will receive 100 percent of all event profits.

For the first time, the event will be open to the local community, not just the parents, siblings of participants and students of Harrison.
