The Farmington Hills school's PTA is organizing the fundraiser at Drakeshire Lanes and needs auction item donations.

Parents at Kenbrook Elementary School in Farmington Hills have organized a March 16 fundraiser at Drakeshire Lanes to help improve the school's playground.

"Pins for the Playground", held from 12 p.m.-3 p.m., will include auction items, a 50/50 drawing and more. Admission includes pizza, pop, shoe rental and two games of bowling.

The event is open to the public, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward making the playground a more enjoyable place for children at the school and in surrounding neighborhoods.
