UPDATED: Power Outage Closes Schools
Longacre and Hillside Elementary Schools will be closed today.
Farmington school officials announced this morning that and in Farmington Hills will be closed today.
The buildings were without power this morning.
More than 600 residents in Farmington and Farmington Hills are also dealing with power outages this morning. Power apparently went out around 2 a.m. for residents west of Farmington Road and south of Grand River, and east of Halsted Road, south of . According to the DTE Energy website, power is estimated to be restored by 11 p.m. today.
